After countless times cleaning under the floorboards it became clear that the original designer had given up by the time he got to the underside. The mark of a well thought out design is not just what it looks like from a distance and the front, but what it looks like when you get close up and personal, the standard floorboards are untidy and show ugly rust after a little exposure to the weather. (OK .. so if you only ever take your bike out in warm sunshine, and always dry them underneath, you may not notice) these floorboard undercovers just finish off where the designer ran out of energy... 

Unlike other additions to the floorboards, these are unaffected by scraping the boards on the ashphalt...  and I must admit it was loads of fun testing that one !!!

No other fixings are required, the covers are held firmly on by the same rubbers that hold the sprung floorboard inserts on. All you need to fit them are the spanners to remove the floorboard, a pair of pliers and a little dishwashing soap.
