New Improved design.

We have recently modified the design to make the lighting on the Stage 1 Air Cleaner side even better! Two of the eight LEDs have a side emitting design which as far as we know is unique to us and in particular lights up the lower part of the engine. Now we have introduced a harness for the plastic box that for bikes that have not had the Stage 1 kit fitted, Finally, we have increased the number of LEDs on the horn side to six!

Other Details.

The units have six hyperbright LEDs on the Horn side and eight on the air cleaner side and are sealed in to make the units waterproof.

The LED's are completely resistant to vibration and should last for 100,000 hours.

Cables are 4 feet long, enabling connection under the seat, in the headlamp or fairing.

The Plastic Mouldings.

The Stage 1 kit, is easy to fit by virtue of the design of the self adhesive plastic mouldings that support and locate the LEDs in exactly the right place, sheilding the LEDs from direct view... no fiddling about trying to find the right position and then work out how to fix the LEDs, it's all done for you ! For those with the plastic box, we supply a template and adhesive, but you will need to drill some 6mm (1/4") holes in the plastic back box.

The adhesive is a high quality industrial grade acrylic rated up to 160 degrees celsius, 320 degrees Fahrenheitand won't fall off ! In the picture above, the longer moulding is for the horn cover, the other two for the air cleaner cover. (note we are continually improving the design, so the shape of the mouldings is subject to change)
